This step-by-step guide helps you stake BTC and earn real yield from the Cardano lending pool, using only your BTC wallet.

The process is straightforward and fully non-custodial. Here’s how you can stake BTC and earn yield step by step:

Step 1: Connect BTC wallet

Goal: Connect Your BTC wallet to start Staking BTC 

Open app.btcgrow.io

Click Connect Wallet.

Currently supporting OKX and Unisat Wallet, more wallets will be supported in the future.

Step 2: Stake BTC

Goal: Stake your BTC to start earning yield through the Cardano lending pool.

2.1 — Enter Amount to Stake & Click Stake

In the staking interface, input the amount of BTC you wish to stake.

Click the Stake button.

Note:

  • Because BTC can be withdrawn at any time, you may confidently stake as much as possible. Liquidity is always available for instant withdrawal without any waiting period.

  • A small fee is required for Wanchain to execute the minting of wBTC on Cardano.

2.2 — Transaction Confirmation & Processing

Your wallet will prompt a signing

Confirm to proceed. Your staking actions are complete. No further action is required.

After confirmation in your wallel, the transaction will take approximately 10–40 minutes to be fully finalized on-chain.

You can click on each transaction in the Transaction History to view its details.

Each BTC staking transaction is processed through 3 detailed transactions:

  • Lock BTC into the script on Bitcoin chain

  • Mint equivalent WBTC on Cardano chain

  • Supply WBTC into the Cardano Flexible pool

Each on-chain transaction is shown with its transaction hash. You can verify it by clicking the link icons to open in the Bitcoin explorer or Cardano explorer.

Step 3: Track Your Position

Goal: Monitor your staking position in real time, including your staked balance, earned rewards.

In the Your Position panel, you can see:

Principal: The total BTC you have currently staked in the pool.

Rewards: The interest accrued since your last transaction.

  • Rewards reset to 0 each time a new transaction occurs (stake or withdraw).

  • Displayed in satoshis (SAT) for precision.

  • Timestamp: Shows when reward calculation started (since your last confirmed transaction).

Step 4: Withdraw BTC Anytime

Goal: Unstake BTC partially or fully.

4.1 — Enter Amount to Withdraw & Click Withdraw

You can withdraw a specific amount by entering the BTC you want, or click Max to withdraw all.

Submit the withdrawal request

4.2 — Enter Amount to Withdraw & Click Withdraw

Your wallet will prompt a signing

Confirm to proceed. Your withdrawing actions are complete. No further action is required

The transaction will take approximately 10–40 minutes to be fully finalized on-chain.

You can click on View Transaction History to view its details.

Each BTC withdrawing action is processed through 3 detailed transactions:- 

  • Withdraw WBTC from the Cardano Flexible pool.

  • Burn WBTC on the Cardano chain.

  • Unlock BTC from the Bitcoin chain script back to your wallet.

Each on-chain transaction is shown with its transaction hash. You can verify it by clicking the link icons to open in the Bitcoin or Cardano explorer.
